Six things worth knowing before you evaluate this
Timesheets that respect the payroll lock
If a timesheet week overlaps an approved payroll run, the week is locked — for the employee too. Retrospective time entry cannot quietly change a period that has already been paid and filed.
Task progress rolls up from actual hours
Submitting a timesheet entry against a task recalculates that task's actual hours and completion percentage. Estimate-versus-actual variance is a report, not a manual reconciliation.
QA review loop with rework tracking
A task moves to Pending Review, the reviewer rates quality and either approves or sends it to rework — and a rework decision opens a linked bug record automatically.
Invoicing with the GST split
Invoices carry a CGST/SGST/IGST split, per-financial-year numbering, and partial payment recording that flips status to Paid only on full receipt.
Project financials against budget
Budgets per category, booked expenses, invoices and receipts roll into revenue recognition, AR ageing and project profitability.
Asset register tied to the employee lifecycle
Asset assignment, transfer, return and scrap are tracked against employees, so offboarding raises an overdue-return alert instead of a lost laptop.
